AICCAD-BUSIA DISABILITY INCLUSIVE LAUNCH
AICCAD in Partnership with HACA started implementing a Child and Community Centred program in Bukhayo Central, Nambale Sub County in Busia County in 2021 due its worrying indicators in many aspects of development. On 17th June, 2022 AICCAD launched Disability inclusive Empowerment Project and combined the launch with the Celebration of International Albinism Awareness Day (IAAD) which was observed on Monday (13th June, 2022).
The Disability project aims at improving the well-being of 300 Children with Disabilities by Increasing Targeted Services for CWDs and their caregivers, Increasing Economic Stability and protection and Improving educational environment and accessibility in Bukhayo Central Ward, Nambale Sub County, Busia County.
The Kenya Disability Inclusive project begun this year 2022 and so far, its implementation is on course with technical support from Light For The World (LFTW) together with the office of National Council for Persons With Disabilities (NCPWDs)Busia County.
